Task: Design a scene that evoke two randomly pulled moods: eerie and suspicious

Beginning sketch, establishing central focal point.
Medium fidelity modeling with laser-cut cardboard, testing sight lines.
Introducing more 3D elements, experimenting with positioning.

Fully painted model.
Introducing lighting, experimenting with shadow.
Final result with two different lighting colors.
Romeo and Juliet Set Design Project

Experimenting a cylical woodland/forest setting to show how timeless this story is.

Low fidelty model using scrap pieces of old projects and material lying around.
Medium fidelity using laser cutter and cardboard.

Added acrylic railings and added stone texture.

Final result with added greenery.
Top-down view.
Elevator dial for Eurydice production
Tools: Laser cutter, Adobe Illustrator, Arduino
Task: Design a functioning elevator dial for Eurydice's descent into the underworld.

Experimenting with what symbols to add to the elevator dial.
Cardboard model with working servo motor component.
Finished result, painted and programmed.

Photo from the production.

Hollywood-inspired Light Installation
Tools: Laser cutter, Adobe Illustrator, Arduino
Task: Individually design a lamp for a Hollywood-inspired lighting installation in 24 hours.

First test of the lighting and servo motor component.
Photo of the wiring and construction.
Final result of the full Hollywood-inspired lighting installation.
Boston College Graduation Caps
Tools: Laser cutter, Vinyl cutter, Adobe Illustrator

Introducing students to low-fidelity prototyping through hand-made prison break artifacts.

MISCELLANEOUS PROJECTS
Toast
In assignment where we had to create a narrative in 5 still-shots, I opted for a non-traditional canvas.

High Horse
In this music video assignment, I wanted to capture the contrast between the good moments moving too fast and the mundane struggles of daily life moving too slow. Sometimes finding balance means making apple pie.
The Fool
A silly short film that explores a cursed game of UNO that introduces tarot cards.
